ANNATO SEEDS

Annatto, sometimes called roucou or achiote, is a derivative of the achiote trees of tropical regions of the Americas, used to produce a yellow to orange food coloring and also as a flavoring.
We source Annatto Seeds through our branch in Ivory Coast and process it hygienically so that the best quality reaches the customer. Annatto seeds are cleaned and dried.
We pack Annatto Seeds in 25KG HDPP bags so that their quality remains intact.
Culinary Uses
- Coloring cheeses, confectionery, butter and cheeses
- Fried and roasted to get the oil
- In cuisines like ukoy, shrimp and sweet potato fritters; pipian, chicken and pork in an annatto
